About us - No Pain No Gain - Is it True?

Is pain the essence of new muscle being built or is it our body telling us to stop?

What type of pain? What type of gain?

If you are working an area of muscles and you are in pain, you have been and presently are doing something wrong. Acute pain is a threat to ones health and you must stop what you are doing.

If you have muscle ache the next day or the day after, you may have been working out correctly. Soreness of working muscles that haven't been worked for a while, which happens 12-48 hours after working out, is harmless and you can continue your regular working outs.
